These oval wooden food bowls are made from local, sustainably sourced ash wood. Each one’s hand turned round whilst the wood is still fresh. Then, as it dries it settles into a uniquely natural and oval shape!
organic and vegan friendly
Each Wooden food bowl is finished with sustainable hemp seed oil. It’s a locally produced, 100% organic cold pressed oil that’s heated to 190 degrees c to insure it really penetrates into the grain. Â It has a distinctive nutty flavour and smell similar to sunflower seeds. This will be quite prominent when the bowl’s new but will fade over time with repeated washings.

Historically, people had their own bowl which was a treasured possession used for many years. To make yours extra special have a name or initials hand burnt into the wood. Please specify your chosen name or initials in the ‘personalisation’ box at checkout.
