This boxed wooden egg set is handmade from reclaimed, locally sourced Beech. The flower illustrations are applied, by hand, using naturally black india ink.

The eggs are then finished with a non-toxic sealant blended from natural orange, lavender and tree oils.

If you order hanging eggs loops of hemp twine are added. These allow them to be hung up. Hanging eggs can be displayed in a vase of budding spring boughs or hung outside on branches to add interest to an easter egg hunt. Please select the colour of waxed hemp twine from the drop down menu when placing your order. The quality hemp twine used for the hanging eggs is sustainably produced in the UK. It's coloured with colour fast natural dyes. To increase its durability it's  coated with wax made from corn and potato starch.

processing and delivery

As eggs are handmade to order please allow one weeks processing time plus 2-4 days for free standard delivery. If you prefer, there's the option to upgrade your delivery service at the checkout.

All packaging is plastic free. Items are wrapped in recycled tissue paper and shipped in a recycled & recyclable postal box secured with paper tape. You may wish to keep and reuse your box for storing your eggs.
