These wooden bowl and plate sets are made from local, sustainably sourced ash wood. Each one’s hand turned whilst the wood is still fresh. Then as it dries it settles into a uniquely natural shape.
Each piece is finished with sustainable hemp seed oil. It’s a locally produced, 100% organic cold pressed oil that’s heated to 190 degrees c to insure it really penetrates into the grain. Â It has a distinctive nutty flavour and smell similar to sunflower seeds. This will be quite prominent when the wood’s new but will fade over time with repeated washings.

Perfect little bowl that suits my needs, I use it daily for both hot and cold food, it feel’s lovely to hold whilst eating, is easily cleaned and looked after, would recommend to all that appreciate the value of wood and the trees they come from.
