Do you know someone who loves wood or is interested in wood turning? Would you like to give someone the gift of a unique experience and a new skill and maybe even come along yourself? Then wood turning sessions are for you.

Join me in the workshop for a 2 hour session or the whole day. I’ll teach you the basics in a fun, informal wood turning lesson and by the end you’ll have something you’ve made to take home with you. All materials and safety equipment are provided as well as refreshments throughout the day.

learning basic wood turning skills

take home 2-3 simple items, including a bowl, made by you on the lathe

make your own turned wedding favours/gifts day

Would you love to have handmade wooden favours at your wedding some or all of which were made and personalised by yourself? A day like this makes a great memory and shows your guests you really went that extra mile for them.

Maybe you’d like to turn a unique bowl to act as a guest book? On the big day invite your guests to sign your bowl. You can then keep it as a wonderful reminder of the day that you can use everyday!

make and personalise some or all of the gifts or favours for your wedding. This is dependent on the amount of items required. On receipt of your reservation form I will sent you an email to help meet your requirements and plan the perfect day.

Please be aware that you will need to pay separately for any additional favours or gifts required that aren’t made during your turning experience.

Scroll through the calendar to the month of your choice. The available dates are highlighted in green. Click once on the date you’d like to reserve. The available sessions should appear below the calendar. Next click twice on the session you’d like to reserve. Then complete and submit the reservation form that appears. In the message box please add the name of any extra adults plus any dietary requirements.
