Handmade Wooden Cufflinks

The classic design and high quality enables these handmade wooden cufflinks to stand the test of time.

Each cabochon is made of sustainably sourced, local Berkshire wood, turned by hand on the lathe making it unique.

The wood is finished with a natural, healthy, safe wax oil, containing no VOC's. Good for you, me and the planet.

Dimensions:  approximate width 1.5 cm.  Each cufflinks only weighs 4g, making them easy to wear all day long.

Each set of wooden cufflinks is presented in a completely plastic free, kraft presentation box made from recycled cardboard and printed with the Love Heartwood logo. The felt insert is made from British sheep's wool.

The woods selected are all native to the UK. Each has its own Celtic symbolic meanings. Birch, to me, has a Spring feel because it symbolises passion and new beginnings. The pale ash is a tree that has been worshiped by different cultures such as Romans, Greeks, Celts, and Vikings.  Among the Celts, ash trees were considered symbols of rebirth and capable of performing miraculous healings.

 The Oak is the King of trees, the tree of sacred blessings and knowledge, nobility, confidence and prosperity. Moreover, the acorn has long symbolised fertility.

The wooden cabochon is set into high quality metal plated backs with an elegant millgrain edge. Choose either silver or gold.
