The freesia egg
natural and sustainable
The collection of decorative easter eggs was inspired by Springtime, the season of rebirth and renewed hope.
The eggs are individually handmade from reclaimed, locally sourced Beech. Then the flowers are hand drawn using india ink. Finally a coat of non-toxic sealant blended from natural orange, lavender and tree oils is applied.
The hemp twine used for hanging eggs is sustainably produced in the UK. The twine is coloured with colourfast natural dyes. To increase its durability, it has a light coating of wax made from corn and potato starch.
Every decorative easter egg purchased plants a tree with TreeSisters.
